Myrna began her culinary career at the Art Institute of Houston. In between her studies, she started a catering company called Myrna’s Delicious Delights. The business took off; however, Myrna decided to postpone her modest success in order to finish school. After securing her degree, Myrna became the food expert for KFDM-TV in Beaumont, Texas. She later became the executive chef at one of Beaumont’s acclaimed restaurants, Two Magnolias, and then landed a spot at CBS’ Great Day Houston before working as a resident chef and culinary director at Sur La Table.
In 2005, Myrna and her mother-in-law submitted an entry to the Food Network’s Holiday Cookie Contest. They were among the winners who were featured in a one hour Holiday Cookie Special. Myrna currently runs her own catering company, Food Innovations, and continues to make local TV appearances in Houston and Austin as well as acting as a cooking instructor at Central Market in Houston.
"As a chef, I know am only as strong as my weakest tool. When I cook with Wolf, I feel like I am driving a Rolls-Royce. When you cook with Wolf, you're cooking with the best."
