Brand-New Built-Ins
Never content with the status quo, Sub-Zero is shaking up its offering of built-in refrigerators and freezers with a whole new range of models. This isn’t simply a revamp of an existing line, such as our 600 Series. Instead, it’s a totally rethought product, one that significantly extends the "built-in" concept. How? By giving designers a wider choice of creative options — at the same time it gives consumers the latest advance in Sub-Zero’s uniquely effective food preservation technology.
Here’s a taste of what our new built-ins offer — a serving, if you will, of their most tantalizing features:
A new INSET installation option allows these units to sit flush with surrounding cabinets or side panels. In essence, they’ll look very much like our integrated units, but these will be easier to install. We’ve redesigned the door hinges, too, giving them a smaller profile that facilitates INSET installation.
Open the door of these units, and you’ll discover a much brighter interior, thanks to evenly distributed lighting that’s still incandescent — just a whole lot whiter.
As for food preservation, well, that’s what Sub-Zero is all about in the first place. The soul of our new built-ins continues to be our famed dual-compressor operating system, which provides separate refrigerator and freezer controls for temperature and humidity and holds preset temperatures within an exceptional plus-or-minus one degree.

To help consumers better understand proper food storage, we’ve created informational Freshness Cards, printed on heavy-duty plastic and designed for quick-reference safekeeping inside the refrigerator door.
